Abhyanga

Abhyanga is one of the most popular and therapeutic treatments in Ayurveda. It’s essentially a full-body massage using warm, herbal oils tailored to your dosha (body constitution).

Key Benefits of Abhyanga:

  • Improves blood circulation

  • Reduces stress and promotes relaxation

  • Nourishes the skin and tissues (dhatus)

  • Helps in detoxifying the body

  • Strengthens the immune system

  • Promotes better sleep

How it’s done:

  • Warm oil (usually infused with herbs specific to your dosha) is applied generously.

  • The massage is done in synchronized movements, often by one or two therapists.

  • Typically lasts for 45 minutes to an hour.
